Event description

This free event is a special celebration of the Opening of Warrigunya's first Exhibition on site. The Official Opening for the Exhibition will be held on the Friday prior to Naidoc Week, 4th July at 11 am.

Warrigunya Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation in partnership with EGIFRAG presents a special exhibition to celebrate Naidoc 2025.

“Voices and Stories from Behind the Prison Wall”  features the art of two brothers; Ray Young and the late Josh Kerr.

The opening includes a smoking ceremony, light lunch, speeches, music, tour of site,

Following the Opening, a week long free exhibition will then be held at Warrigunya’s On Country House, 133 Four Mile Creek Road, Darriman (Gippsland) during Naidoc Week:  Monday 7th to Friday 11th July 10am-2pm each day.
