Voices from the Edge 2026
Description
Join us for an inspiring celebration of diversity, connection, creativity and shared humanity.
Voices from the Edge is an intentionally open, inclusive and welcoming gathering that centres the voices of artists, performers and community members from groups that have too often been marginalised, overlooked or excluded. Through story, music, art, poetry, movement and conversation, we create space to listen deeply, build understanding and celebrate the richness of our diverse community.
Together we will explore what it means to be good allies, foster belonging, and strengthen the connections that unite us while honouring the experiences that make us unique.
The day will feature:
• Welcome to Country
• Live music, storytelling, poetry and performance
• Art exhibition featuring artists from diverse communities
• Panel discussions and personal stories from artists and community members
• Interactive community art activities
