Training:
Presented by Louise Togo, indigenous community leader.
The course will introduce you to the following:
- The history of the First Nations peoples’ struggle
- The Uluru Statement from the Heart
- Techniques to advocate on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
- The skills required to build your confidence to handle objections
- Messaging and mapping in a targeted campaign.
Time & Date:
The course is run online via two 3 hour sessions over two days:
- Wednesday, 3 February, 2021 (6pm - 9pm)
- Sunday, 7 February, 2021 (5pm - 8pm)
Please note: these sessions are only for women. Additional courses will soon be announced.

Scholarships Available:
The cost of the course is $50. There are 5Â NCJWA Scholarships are available for women who meet at least one of the following criteria:
- If you are unwaged
- If you are under the age of 35
- If you live outside of metropolitan Melbourne or Sydney
