Training:

Presented by Louise Togo, indigenous community leader.

The course will introduce you to the following:

The history of the First Nations peoples’ struggle
The Uluru Statement from the Heart
Techniques to advocate on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
The skills required to build your confidence to handle objections
Messaging and mapping in a targeted campaign.

Time & Date:

The course is run online via two 3 hour sessions over two days:

Wednesday, 3 February, 2021 (6pm - 9pm)
Sunday, 7 February, 2021 (5pm - 8pm)

Please note: these sessions are only for women. Additional courses will soon be announced.

Scholarships Available:

The cost of the course is $50. There are 5 NCJWA Scholarships are available for women who meet at least one of the following criteria:

If you are unwaged
If you are under the age of 35
If you live outside of metropolitan Melbourne or Sydney
