Volunteer Appreciation Picnic!

Calling all SOMA Camp 2024 volunteers! 

Please join us for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic! We'll be gathering on July 14th at Sebastopol's Ragle Ranch Regional Park in the "Oak Savannah Picnic Area" to shower you with love in food-form (and hugs and/or high-fives if you want them.) The picnic area is right next to the playground on the right after you pass the entryway/kiosk.

Camp volunteers can bring guests for only $15 each - see the menu below! Come gather with some of the SOMA board, chefs, members, mushroom outing leaders and other mycophiles over a yummy mushroom-enriched meal :)

We may have some SOMA goodies for you, and we would like to hear your suggestions on how to make SOMA even better in the coming years. We are planning to go above and beyond this year, and we want your continued contributions as a part of SOMA's success!

We will provide some non-alcoholic beverage choices; we cannot serve you alcohol legally, but you may bring your own if you would like! Please be safe, respectful and kind with your imbibing - to yourself and others! 

Menu:

• Appetizer: Truffled Deviled Eggs
  • Biotic Brand's Kvass, Coffee/Decaf and a mushroom-infused beverage of the legal-only variety.
• Mains: Cold Fried Chicken  &  Wild Mushroom Zucchini Chili (Vegan/Gluten Free)  **Please let us know if you need the vegan chili option!**
• Other yummies:
  • Alba Clamshell Mushroom & Chive Potato Salad (Vegan/Gluten Free)                                                                                            
  • Fennel & Apple Slaw w/ Candy Cap Mushroom Dressing (Vegan/Gluten Free)                                                                                       
  • Green Salad w/ Roasted Maitake Mushrooms (Vegan/Gluten Free)
• Dessert: Assorted Cupcakes & Dark Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
