🙌 Get Involved: Volunteer at the Dirty Docker 2025 🙌

The Dirty Docker is back for its second year — bigger, bolder, and dirtier than before! This epic weekend festival of gravel, cyclocross, and trail running returns to the Macedon Ranges on October 11–12, 2025, promising an action-packed adventure on two wheels (or two feet!).

Volunteering is a brilliant way to be part of the action, meet like-minded people, and support the cycling community. Whether you're solo or with mates, there's a spot for you on the team.

🚦Course Marshals

Help direct riders safely through key intersections across the route. Some points involve light traffic management or cheering riders through course splits. We’ll give you everything you need — confidence and clear hand signals go a long way!

Choose a marshal role that suits your time, location, or vibe:

Start Line Marshals (early morning)
Mid-Course Traffic Marshals
Course Split Marshals (directing riders at route divergence points)
135km Loop Marshals (remote & scenic gravel sector)
Final Stretch Marshals (near Lancefield — higher rider volume)
Sweep & Support Crew (roving/flexible roles)

We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds. Whether you're an individual or part of a group, there's a place for you.

📍HOW TO GET TO LANCEFIELD?

In the heart of the Macedon Ranges, just one hour's drive from Melbourne, Lancefield is nestled between Mt Macedon and the Cobaw Forest.

ARRIVING FROM NORTH - Driving from the North, take the Broadford exit (C311) from the Hume HWY and follow signs to Kilmore (C311). From Kilmore, follow the signs WEST to Kyenton / Lancefield (C324).

ARRIVING FROM MELBOURNE - Drive direction Melbourne Airport (M2). Continue past and follow Signs to Sunbury / Lancefield (C743). Make a right, direction NORTH to Lancefield, on Lancefield RD (C325)
