We've got the tools, we need YOUR hands. Come and meet people, and learn new skills and help out Oxgangs Community Gardeners.

No building experience is necessary, and DIY learners very welcome! Just make sure you select the appropriate ticket(s) at checkout. There will be some physical work involved, including heavy lifting (just let us know if this will be a challenge for you and we can plan accordingly.)

The plan is to help Oxgangs Community Gardeners make some wheelchair accessible planters - plus some other tasks if we have the time! We need volunteers on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September from 10am - 4pm. Lunch will be provided.

Please book the correct ticket(s) for the day(s) you'd like to come! Want to come both days? Totally doable and highly appreciated! Just make sure to book onto all the event instances.

What to bring on the day?

Your own PPE (work gloves, ear defenders, goggles) if you have it
A water bottle
Waterproof coat (just in case!)

What is this all about?

This build is part of the Edinburgh Tool Library’s commitment to make Edinburgh a better place, where resources are shared, and we help each other. With tools, skills, volunteers and a bit of money, wonderful things are possible! This project is one of the latest ideas submitted to, and selected by, the Volunteer Assembly.
