Are you a manager of volunteers or coordinate volunteers within your role, paid or voluntary?
Volunteering Tasmania is excited to share the opportunity to participate in this workshop Volunteer Managers | Looking after your own self-care on Thursday 28th October in Campbell Town.
Designed to support those who manage or coordinate volunteers within an employed or volunteer capacity. This workshop will share advice around supporting those who experience mental health, encompassing general awareness, and looking at transferrable skills (communication, reflective listening, empathy etc.) for leaders of volunteers.
This workshop will assist participants with:
• Managing volunteers and the mental load
• Working with people and mental health
• Maintaining your mental health – self-care
• Supporting those and yourself in volunteer management (with mental health in mind)
This workshop is facilitated by Rural alive and Well Inc. (RAW). RAW aims to reduce the rates of suicide in rural communities by assisting and supporting communities and individuals to respond to adversity through early intervention, facilitation, and prevention.
