UNAA Young Professionals Volunteering Day
Event description
Following World Environment Day (5 June) and in support of Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life below Water and Goal 15: Life on Land, the UNAAV Young Professionals are hosting a volunteering day to highlight the importance of protecting and conserving our natural heritage.
Working in partnership with the City of Port Phillip and Conservation Volunteers Australia, we invite you to join either of the following two activities:
- Beach clean up at St Kilda Beach
- Tree planting at Elwood Foreshore
By providing practical support to the City of Port Phillip under the guidance of Conservation Volunteers Australia, taking part in this volunteering day will enable you to contribute to their revegetation efforts to increase habitat biodiversity and help to keep one of Melbourne's most famous beach clean.
Light breakfast (optional from 7.30am) and lunch will be provided.
