OCEAN LOVERS TALKS - Demystifying Sustainable Food
Communications expert, Alex Webb, gets to the bottom of the many myths and claims surrounding sustainable seafood such as that all big boats are bad, that imported seafood is inferior and some species are more sustainable than others.
Alex Webb is the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager, Oceania at the Marine Stewardship Council. Currently based in Sydney, Alex has worked with top-level fisheries scientists from around the world to lead global and regional sustainable seafood campaigns across 22 different countries. Alex is a communications and marketing specialist with the Marine Stewardship Council, an organisation on a mission to end over fishing by means of better awareness among consumers and businesses. Alex began his sustainable seafood journey in the UK at the Marine Stewardship Council’s London HQ and has dedicated over 11 years of his career to advancing the cause of sustainable seafood.
