    Event description

OCEAN LOVERS TALKS - The 101 on the 30 by 30

Australia’s own schoolgirl conservation champions Myla and Liv making green business a success and how they won Shark Tank before they turned 15.

Myla Tucker (14)and Liv Lorenz (14) first came up with the idea of Cinnamon Cove when they were11 years old. During lock down, they would go down to their local beach each day for exercise, but found there were no swimmers they liked–they were either way too babyish or way too skimpy, so they decided to design their own. Cinnamon Cove was established to produce swimwear by tweens, for tweens. They knew right from day one that they wanted to make their business as sustainable and ethical as possible, so all of their swimsuits are made from upcycled nylon, and they are manufactured locally in Newcastle in small batches only to reduce waste. Myla and Liv are determined to show that it is possible to love fashion AND respect the planet and they are always on the look out for innovative, eco-friendly fabrics and like-minded partners to collaborate with
