    Event description

    OCEAN LOVERS ACTIVITIES - MARINE SAND SCULPTURE EVENT

    Come and join the fun on Bondi Beach and create a marine sand sculpture. Let your imagination run wild and create a marine animal sculpture in the sand! Local artists will be there to give you a hand with inspiration. And even better, there are fun prizes and giveaways! 

    Open to all families, adults and supervised kids. Register as an individual, group or organisation. 

    Come along and learn why we need better protections for endangered marine life. 

    Important information: 

    • Bring buckets, spades, hats, water bottles. Slip! Slop! Slap!

    Please note that no signage can be placed with sculptures.

    Let’s sculpt the marine life we want protected!
     

    11 am Marine Sanctuaries: A talk with Prof David Booth

    Marine scientists David Booth and Giglia Beretta will be on the ground to discuss our local marine life, and the state of ocean protection.

    Sand Sculpture organised by Blue World, who proudly support the Valerie Taylor Ocean Prizes.
