All aboard for an unforgettable Antarctic adventure on Tassie’s iconic tall ship, the Lady Nelson.

Step aboard for a memorable 90-minute harbour sail across the breathtaking Derwent and journey into the Heroic Age of Antarctic exploration. Whether you want to dive into the action by helping the crew hoist the sails, take the helm, or simply relax and soak in the views of one of the world’s most picturesque harbours, this is a rare chance to experience Hobart’s maritime history from the water.

As you sail across Hobart’s historic waterfront, Festival storytellers will bring to life the remarkable stories of Sir Douglas Mawson and Sir Ernest Shackleton, two legendary explorers whose courage, endurance and leadership helped define one of the greatest eras of polar exploration.
