From across 6 university teams — USYD, UNSW, WSU, UTS, MQU, and our STATE team — we come together not only to celebrate our rich Vietnamese heritage through music🎵, dance💃, and performance🎭 but also to give back to those in need. 💖

We cordially invite you to an ✨𝑒𝓃𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔✨ night of culture, community, and compassion. Enjoy a delectable 𝟕-𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 🍽️, be inspired by powerful stories and artistic showcases, and join us in raising funds for a brighter future.

Last year, our charity of choice was 👫 Vietnam Foundation👫, in which we successfully raised over $10,000, a significant achievement for us and our sponsors!🎉 This year, our vision is to make the Charity Dinner 𝐵𝐼𝒢𝒢𝐸𝑅 , 𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑, and more  𝐼𝑀𝒫𝒜𝒞𝒯𝐹𝒰𝐿.

🏮 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞: Threads of Time

Threads of Time honours the rich heritage of the Vietnamese community and the remarkable tapestry it has woven across Australia over the past 50 years 🧵. The theme celebrates the enduring beauty of Vietnamese culture and its timeless traditions, where every thread — each story, sacrifice, and triumph — is interwoven into the fabric of who we are today ✨. We highlight the importance of preserving cultural heritage as well as the passing of knowledge, stories, and values from one generation to the next, stitching together the past and present whilst weaving a brighter path for future generations 🤍. As we reflect on half a century of settlement, Threads of Time traces the achievements, resilience, and shared dreams that continue to bind our community together, guiding us towards a strong and united future 🌙

💝 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫: Australian Health Humanitarian Aid (AHHA)

This year's proceeds will support AHHA, whose work threads beautifully through the heart of Threads of Time — restoring not just sight, but the connections that bind families, communities and generations together. Guided by a vision to relieve human suffering and improve the quality of life for those in need, AHHA delivers ophthalmic, medical and dental care, education and humanitarian aid to underprivileged communities with respect and dignity. Their 300+ dedicated volunteers give their skills, time and personal resources to make a tangible difference — travelling each year to Vietnam and Cambodia to perform free, cutting-edge cataract surgeries, deliver eye and dental care, provide medical check-ups and medication, and train local students and doctors through conferences, workshops and wet labs. Beyond the field, they raise funds for disaster relief and recovery both here in Australia and overseas. Their focus on cataract surgery is deliberate: it is one of the most cost-effective health interventions in the world. Tonight, every contribution becomes another thread woven into that legacy — and into a future of hope. Please join us in partnering with AHHA to make a difference to the world we live in.

Your contributions will help fund essential programs for vulnerable children and families in Vietnam, offering them the opportunity to thrive and lead empowered lives.
