VUPA Social Outing: Lightscape Melbourne 🌟

Join the Victoria University Postgraduate Association (VUPA) for a magical evening at Lightscape Melbourne! Experience the Royal Botanic Gardens transformed after dark into an immersive world of glowing light installations, luminous canopies, and larger-than-life sculptures.

This is a fantastic opportunity to unwind, meet fellow postgraduate students, and experience one of Melbourne's premier winter events at a heavily subsidized student rate.

📅 Event Details

• Eligibility: This event is strictly for currently enrolled Victoria University postgraduate students. You must provide your VU Student ID number during registration and bring the physical/digital card to the event.

• Date: Friday, 27 June 2026

• Arrival & Meeting Time: 5:30 PM (for a strict group entry shortly after. Latecomers are not permitted entry).

• Location: Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne (A specific meeting point will be emailed to registered attendees).

• Cost: 5$. To ensure our limited tickets are used, this acts as a holding deposit. Your $5 will be fully refunded to you after you attend the event. (Please note: No-shows will forfeit their deposit).

🧥 Weather & Dress Code (Crucial Info!)

Lightscape is an outdoor, all-weather event. The trail is approximately 2.1km long on bitumen paths.

• Rain or Shine: The event will continue to run in the event of rain.

• What to bring: Please check the forecast, bring an umbrella, and dress in warm layers.

• Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.

🎟️ How Ticketing Works (Read Carefully)

To keep entry smooth and prevent confusion, please note the following:

1. Registration Only: This Humanitix page is strictly to reserve your spot and gather our attendee list. Your Humanitix confirmation email is NOT your entry ticket.

2. Ticket Distribution: Your official Ticketek entry bar code will be emailed/SMSed to the mobile number you provide during this registration closer to the event date.
