Workshop: Botanical Art

Saturday Monthly Workshop
27th April / 11th May / 15th June / 20th July / 17th August
Duration: 11am to 1pm
Contemporary botanical art workshop in which you will be spending time working on technique and medium exercises
followed by projects to create finished pieces. Using flowers as references and running for 2 hour duration.
About the Facilitator:
Sarah Hankinson is a Melbourne based Artist and Illustrator with over 15 years experience engaging in commercial
illustration as well as other creative pursuits. More recently, Sarah has continued to hone her skills and artistry into a fine arts
based practice. Inspired by the natural world we inhabit, Sarah has a passion for botanical, landscape and still life painting and
drawing; prompting us to delve deeper into an understanding of our sense of place.
