Event description

Hi everyone,

Kathryn Choules, an Australian Volunteers alumni and one of Kings Park knowledgeable and passionate volunteer guides (and volunteer in Kings Park nursery), will walk with us through the stunning WA wildflowers and birds of the botanic garden.

As we experience some of the exceptional biodiversity of the state, Kathryn will share some of the ways Kings Park is responding to climate change and the threats to biodiversity.

When: : Saturday, 2 August 2025,  9:30am-11am,

Where: Kings Park - Caring for Country, Caring for Ourselves

Learn about the volunteer roles in the park which includes guiding groups, supporting Kings Park staff in the bushland and botanic garden and growing native plants.

Join us for a coffee and update about Australian Volunteer activities.

What to bring: comfortable shoes, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, umbrella, raincoat (depending on the conditions)
