Preparing for the 2025 Conference theme of Equity, Elasticity and Evolution, we are exploring the issue of road user equity and if socio-economic status may compound road trauma outcomes.

Join us to discuss the article "The Most Vulnerable User: Examining the Role of Income, Race, and the Built Environment on Pedestrian Injuries and Deaths" by Eric Dumbaugh, Jonathan Stiles, Diana Mitsova, and Dibakar Saha. The paper is available in the public domain at: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/03611981231175888.

An additional paper; "Why do lower-income areas experience worse road safety outcomes?" available at https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2590198222001567 is also by Eric Dumbaugh, Yanmei Li a, Dibakar Saha b and Wesley Marshall, which is also of interest and likely to come into the conversation.

At this time Dr Eric Dumbaugh is negotiating his calendar and is keen to join us to discuss this work.
