WA DAMA and Skilled Visa Information Session - Geraldton

With light breakfast and refreshments.

The Department of Home Affairs are pleased to present a free information session on the new WA Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) to support businesses in regional WA in partnership with the WA Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) and Mid-West Development Commission (MWDC).

The WA DAMA program has been established to assist WA employers seeking to recruit overseas skilled and semi-skilled workers to meet critical workforce and skill shortages across WA.

This session is specifically tailored for regional employers to better understand the WA DAMA program and how to work with DTWD as the Designated Area Representative (DAR) for the WA DAMA.

Information on how to become a standard business sponsor and nominate occupations that cannot be filled by Australian workers will be provided along with information about other skilled visa options that are available to regional industry and business.

Free information session: Thursday 26th June 2024 @ 08:00am

Venue: Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development Conference Room
