WA’s Film Future: Are We Ready?

Western Australia’s screen industry is gaining momentum, and the big question is: are we ready for what comes next?

Join Women in Media WA for an engaging evening of conversation, insight and connection as we explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of WA’s film industry. Hear from leading voices in screen production and development, and connect with fellow professionals from across media and creative industries.

Our panel features:

Rikki Lea Bestall - CEO of Screenwest, leading the charge for Western Australia’s screen industry
Kate Separovich - acclaimed film producer known for Proclivitas Evie and Dirt Music

The discussion will be moderated by Women in Media WA's very own Sinéad Mangan, executive producer and presenter of ABC’s Australia Wide and host of Expanse: The Pink Diamond Heist podcast.

Whether you’re an industry professional, emerging creative, or simply passionate about film, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain insights and expand your network. And yes, men are welcome!
