As the crisis begins to slowly pass, it is time for arts to join the other essential services needed to get Western Australia back on its feet.

Arts is critical in culture, youth, ageing, mental health, education and learning, creativity, tourism, economic development and joy, but never more so than now.

In this gathering of the most creative arts people in WA we will demonstrate the huge range of tangible benefits delivered that improve lives and communities. These include:

How we deliver or can deliver on so many of your community needs post COVID, many of which open doors for funding
Examples of amazing arts contributions in roles that have changed communities for ever
What communities want from producers and presenters
What presenters and producers want from communities
How local government regards arts, and how to change this when it isn’t positive

As always, the best producers in the state will pitch a huge range of high-quality work as we introduce new pitching styles.

We aim to ensure producers connect with presenters and the rest of the arts community to help us create a state connected, enriched and alive.

We know art is indispensable and at the end of this WA Showcase, attendees will leave with more diverse ideas for lifting their communities post COVID and be better able to show funders that arts is as indispensable, maybe even more so than that well-funded sporting club.

THE VENUE WILL BE SANITISED REGULARLY AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL APPLY
