The world has changed. So has business. Now is the time to get recognised as a certified social enterprise.

Almost 500 Australian social enterprises have chosen certification - WA is a very small portion of those certified. Are we ready to join the community of game changers?

WASEC invites you to join us and Social Traders to learn about what certification provides. Social Traders is Australia’s only independent verification of social enterprise status. Social Traders work with social enterprises across all impact models, legal types and all stages of social enterprise development including start-ups.

In this online workshop delivered by the WA Social Enterprise Council and Social Traders, you’ll get:

Insight into the social enterprise model and why its catching on globally.
How certification supports your business to grow.
An introduction to our community of gamechangers and membership offer.
How certification supports access to social procurement opportunities.
Everything needed to get started and receive your certification activation kit.

A message from Social Traders CEO, Tara Anderson:

At a time when businesses are grappling with the challenge of creating purpose beyond profit, social enterprises have been doing it for decades. And it’s time the whole economy learnt from them and shifted in that direction.

Certification is your key to being recognised as a social enterprise – by the sector, by funders, by big business and by government.

The number of certified social enterprises is growing by an average of 29% every year. We want all social enterprises to be certified so they can be recognised, win new contracts, access capacity building support and secure grant funding or social investment. 79% of certified social enterprises have increased their revenue between certification periods.

My ask – stand up and be proud of who we are, by getting certified

Let’s be unwavering in making our identity as social enterprises known. Let’s clearly state who we are, so we can tell the country why we matter. Because if we harness our collective energy, everything is possible.

Join us at the forefront of the shift to business for good.
