WA Agtech Meetup: Commercialising Research

Join us at the upcoming WA AgTech Meetup to dive deep into the world of commercialising agricultural research. 

Learn about the unique challenges that Western Australia based agtech startups face, critical Intellectual Property considerations for innovations, and effective strategies to bring research to market. 

Meet the Panellists: 
🌱Rebecca Hopper, Managing Director of resonAg. A deep tech company bringing complex measurements to agriculture. resonAg will enable you to take an MRI of your farm, giving you the moisture content, fertiliser content and carbon content of your soil. 

🌱Dr Tom Hammond, Team Lead of Commercialisation at Curtin University. The Commercialisation team works closely with Curtin researchers to assess the commercial viability of their novel concepts and inventions, and the best method of bringing them to market.

🌱Dr Sofie De Meyer, CEO of MALDIID. One-stop shop for biological market success. Your trusted partner for entering the market with your biofertilizers, biostimulants and biocontrol products.

🌱Dr Stefan Patterson, Principal of Integrated IP. An independent firm based in Perth and is made up of some of Australia's leading patent attorneys & business advisers. Areas of expertise include biotechnology, chemistry and food, space technologies and more.
