Back for it's highly anticipated second year, Strings Attached: The West Australian Guitar Festival will bring together Players, Makers and Enthusiasts of the stringed-persuasion for a weekend of guitar-fuelled entertainment in Margaret River, WA.
Featuring many of Australia's most prominent guitarists and luthiers, the 2021 Festival is turning Covid's lemons into lemonade with a strong leaning toward celebrating the incredible artists and artisans we have in our own backyard, offering:
- Live Performances
- Exhibitions and demonstrations from guitar makers, retailers, gear manufacturers & distributors Â
- Workshops, masterclasses and panel Q&A's with artists and luthiers
Lovers of live music can expect everything from Blues to Roots, World to Jazz, Metal & Rock, Country, Classical and more, featuring players from around the country showcasing the magic of strings, be it electric or acoustic, bass or mandolin, banjo or ukulele and beyond.Â

Weekend Passes will grant you access to events at all festival venues, be it a gig, workshop, masterclass or other. You will be able to pick up your Festival Pass from the Festival Info Centre, located in the foyer of Margaret River HEART from 4pm Friday 8th October 2021.
Due to some events having limited capacity, Festival Pass holders will have the opportunity to register for the events at the festival they wish to attend. Please refer to your confirmation email for details on how to register, or see HERE.
Day Passes and tickets to individual events will go on sale in August after the 2-week initial registration period has elapsed.
