This workshop explores concepts for developing chord voicings on guitar and how to apply these in practice – particularly for jazz guitarists. We will be looking at harmonic progressions from jazz standards and focusing on areas such as chord scales, drop voicings, modal harmonisation, and chord solos. Whether you are an intermediate or advanced player, this workshop offers material and ideas for expanding your harmonic understanding and ability on the guitar.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the event. We recommend festival-goers attend this session from start to finish. Bring your instrument, though observers are also welcome!
