Jazz Double Bass

An overview of jazz double bass techniques presented by Pete Jeavons. Topics will include everything from walking basslines and two feels to different ‘latin’ jazz feels, slap-bass, bass percussion and a variety of different pizzicato techniques.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the event and be seated before the advertised start time. We recommend festival-goers attend this session from start to finish. For intermediate players - bring your instrument.
