WA Classical Guitar Society Orchestra returns to the Maylands Yacht Club

The Maylands Yacht Club has become the traditional venue for WAGO’s Winter Recital. We are delighted to return this year, with a program that combines new and original Australian repertoire with traditional Spanish music, Celtic music, and even some iconic popular pieces.

WAGO is a volunteer guitar orchestra that combines fundraising for charity with performing a combination of traditional and original music. Our members are involved in arranging and writing music for the orchestra and vary from enthusiastic amateurs to tertiary students and professional teachers and performers.

WAGO is directed by composer and guitarist Jane Darcey, who has recently completed a Master of Arts at WAAPA and is now enrolled in the PhD program.
