Wāhine on Water - Overnight Sailing Trip

Explore, adventure and have fun with other wāhine on this overnight sailing adventure.
Join knowledgeable MERC leaders for an introductory sailing course for women 18 & up. The weekend's programme provide the opportunity to learn or practice small boat sailing skills, connecting with like-minded ladies and explore the marine environment of Long Bay Marine Reserve and beyond.
Our mac 370 boats are ideal boats to learn to sail or test your ability as a seasoned skipper. This weekend is designed for all levels and we especially welcome new sailors. Saturday morning we will focus on learning how to rig and sail the boats efficiently before setting course for our campsite for the evening. Sunday we will return back to our centre at Long Bay.
Included: Activity equipment, instruction, coaching and camp fees are covered as part of your ticket.
Not included: Participants will need to provide their own camping gear and food. (We may be able to lend some camping gear, please enquire about this if you do not have all the necessary equipment for camping.)
