WAHPSA Annual Networking Breakfast:
Event description
This year's theme is: Sustainability in Schools
At first glance, the environment and human health might not seem related, but our health is intertwined with the environment in which we live.
Join us on Wednesday 3 November for WAPHSA’s annual networking breakfast and be empowered to bring about real change - professionally and personally – in the face of environmental problems.
We are delighted to announce our two guest speakers as Rebecca Prince Ruiz, founder of Plastic Free July and Rachael Roberts, sustainability teacher at Hillcrest Primary School and Coordinator of EnviroHouse.
Speaker profiles:
Rebecca Prince-Ruiz is the founder of a global movement (Plastic Free July) that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution.
Rebecca has worked with state governments and business leaders on reducing single use plastics and is on the board of the government’s Container Deposit Scheme – a new recycling program for WA.
Rachael Roberts lives and breathes sustainability as the sustainability teacher at Hillcrest Primary School and coordinator of EnviroHouse in
