Waiheke Collective Film Festival - Climate Commons

An interactive evening with Electrify Waiheke.

Electrify Waiheke presents a special screening of Climate Commons, an inspiring 60-minute documentary showcasing practical climate solutions from across Aotearoa. Through Indigenous leadership, scientific insight, and grassroots initiatives, the film highlights hopeful and actionable pathways to a low-emissions future.

The event is part of the Waiheke Collective Film Festival and contributes to the Waiheke Local Climate Plan vision to create a resilient , self-sustaining, independent, and net carbon positive community.

Following the screening, Electrify Waiheke will share some of its current projects focused on supporting local energy generation and improving energy equity on the motu. These initiatives aim to build a more resilient, community-powered future for Waiheke, ensuring that the benefits of clean energy are accessible to all.
