Re: Waihi Beach Yoga Kirtan Retreat re-scheduled for September 2022.

Due to new noise control policies recently revealed to us at our venue: Sea Esta Camp & Lodge, which unfortunately make it untenable for us to proceed with the schedule we had planned, we are sadly no longer able to go ahead with the retreat there & therefore will be issuing refunds to all ticket buyers...

Welcome to a not to be missed epic spiritual immersion weekend @ Waihi Beach Yoga Kirtan Retreat, put on by Waihi Meditation in affiliation with Meditation New Zealand, 23rd - 25th September (Friday /Saturday nights) at Sea Esta Camp & Lodge Waihi Beach

Have a really great weekend at a fantastic location, close to the beach, with plenty of kirtan meditation, yoga & amazing yoga wisdom with renowned international yoga wisdom speaker Acharya das, good food & friendly people!

Taking care of our spiritual needs is of utmost importance and often neglected. We welcome you to take this opportunity to participate in this deep practice that is also lots of fun. You are most welcome to participate in all of the retreat or just whichever parts you would like to most!

Located a short walk to the beach with large grounds and hall.

The price per person is only $50 for the whole weekend, this includes a Pizza meal on Friday night and an Indian meal Saturday night, accommodation, four inspiring talks with Acharya das, lots of Kirtan meditation & yoga with Carrie each morning. We'll probably do a cinnamon porridge for breakfast, and people can do their own lunch (and breakfast, if they don’t like porridge!:) The kitchen looks good & has a toaster, etc... All our meals are vegetarian, plant-based, and egg-free with vegan options available. Please just bring vegetarian food (egg-free) Thank you!

Day tickets are also available if you do not require accommodation $15 for Friday evening, $25 for Saturday (whole day), $10 for Sunday (morning program)

Accommodation is 4 x bunk rooms each for men and women, each of the eight rooms has 4 x bunks and 1 x single

Mattress & mattress protector provided only, please bring bedding as required.

Friday evening

6 pm Simple Pizza meal

7 pm Gauranga breathing, Nitai Gaur chant, Kirtan until 8.30 pm

8.30 pm Talk and Kirtan by Acharya das until 10 pm

Saturday

8 am Kirtan and Japa (teaching Japa meditation) until 9 am

9 am Yoga with Carrie for an hour

10 am Kirtan 15 mins

10.15 am Talk with Acharya das and Kirtan until 11.30 am

11.30 am to 12 pm Japa Meditation

12 pm to 1 pm Lunch

1.30 pm Hot pools until 3 pm (longer for those that want to)

3.15 pm Soccer till 4.15 pm (Alternatively for those that want, there may be a Q & A session 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm)

5 pm Talk with Acharya das and Kirtan until 6.30 pm

6.30 pm Dinner

7.30 pm Kirtan

9 pm Kirtan with Acharya das until 10 pm

Sunday

8 am Kirtan

8.30 am Yoga with Carrie until 9.30 am

9.30 am Kirtan

9.45 am Acharya das talk and Kirtan until 11 am

(We need to be out of our rooms by 10 am, but not out of the hall until 12 pm)

11 am Clean up and leave by 12 pm
