Waimakariri - Kia Rite Hoea October Workshop

The Workshop will be run over two evenings:

Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th October 6pm – 8:30pm

Are you planning a sports event or a small festival but not sure where to start? Kia Rite Hoea (previously Get Set Go!) is your one-stop-shop resource and training package to running a safe and successful community event or programme.

The Kia Rite Hoea workshop gives you tools that are user-friendly and ready to use immediately. Including 27 templates and 55 pages of jam-packed guidance, checklists, hot-tips, and case studies, these resources will save you many hours of research and indecision.

Here's what we'll cover during the workshop:

• Dream it - You have a great idea, what to do next, who else might be interested, setting objectives
• Plan it - Resources, funding, budgeting, organising team, volunteers, venues, admin, accessibility and inclusion, sustainability and waste management, health and safety, promotions evaluations.
• Run it - On the day checklists, trouble shooting, recording.
• Review it - Feedback, reflection, reporting
