Are you ready to harness the power of artificial intelligence in your tech business? Join us for the second session of Waipā Tech Meetups, where we’ll dive into how you can unlock the power of AI to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and stay ahead of the curve.

This session will feature three speakers, who will share their perspectives and insights on AI. 

1. Albert Bifet - The Professor

Albert Bifet is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence and the Director of the Te Ipu o te Mahara AI Institute at University of Waikato, and Professor of Big Data at Data, Intelligence and Graphs (DIG) LTCI, Télécom Paris, IP Paris. He is co-chair of the NZ AI Researchers Association.

2. Jeremy Suisted - The Coach

Jeremy co-runs Mosaic Partners, an organisation dedicated to educating every-day Kiwis in how to save time with AI. He is also a Teaching Fellow at the University of Waikato, where he specialises in innovation and entrepreneurship.

3. Jeremy Johnson - The Product Guy

Jeremy Johnson is a co-founder of Rocketspark and chief product officer.  Jeremy started his career as a freelance designer and is always thinking "is there a better way to do this?".

Whether you’re curious about getting started with AI or looking to take your existing systems to the next level, this event will provide the inspiration and knowledge you need. And, as always, enjoy you'll be able to network with like-minded professionals over drinks and nibbles.

What is Waipā Tech Meetups?

This is a brand-new initiative brought to you by Rocketspark, Soda Inc., and the Waipā District Council.

Waipā Tech Meetups is a series of events, designed to bring Waipā-based tech businesses together for insights from local tech experts (or "tech-sperts"). Expect practical tips and techniques, opportunities to network with like-minded businesses, and drinks and nibbles in a casual, welcoming atmosphere.
