We are excited to introduce our outstanding panel of experts:

🌿 Kate Ivey – founder of Kate Ivey Fitness and DediKate, the online fitness platform built for busy, rural and real women. Based on a farm near Twizel, Kate has over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry and holds a Bachelor's in Physical Education and Psychology from Otago University. A mother of three, she knows first-hand how hard it can be to prioritise your health when life is full. Kate is a certified specialist in Peri to Post Menopause exercise and is passionate about helping women 35+ navigate this stage of life with exercise that truly supports them, so they can feel strong, healthy and confident in this next chapter.

🌿 Dr Alison Payne – a lifelong GP and has always loved practising holistic health care, engaging with people in the context of their lives as they age. She was a full-time GP in the North West of England for six years before emigrating to New Zealand in 1994. In 2007, she returned to the UK to support family, then COVID brought her back to NZ in 2020.

Her UK experience has always been as an inner-city GP and, since 2007, she worked mainly with refugees and asylum seekers and in a community gynae clinic and a sexual health clinic; she has climbed a steep learning curve with rural health care.

Now semi-retired, she focuses on pet topics; one being perimenopause and other hormonal issues.

She and her husband have been fortunate to travel widely over the years, on foot, cycling and using public transport. Now they are happy to stay where they are, off the grid in rural South Wairarapa on a lifestyle block with sheep, rescue alpacas, ducks and chickens. Richard has retired and keeps their space going. They are self-sufficient, well-fed vegetarians.

🌿 Sarah Percy – a Registered Dietitian with over 24 years of experience helping people achieve better health through practical, evidence-based nutrition advice that fits their lifestyle.

After working in hospitals across New Zealand and the UK, Sarah realised her passion was in proactive health support—helping people prevent health issues and thrive, rather than treating problems after they arise. This led her to establish her private practice, where she offers personalised care, longer consultations, and practical, achievable plans tailored to each person's unique goals.

Sarah has a particular interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, helping them manage symptoms, support hormone health, and improve energy levels. She also works with clients to achieve sustainable weight loss without fad diets and to improve gut health, supporting digestion, immunity, and overall wellbeing.
