Connection Under The Stars

Your host for this event is: Beau-Qay Christensen. 

We are going to kickstart 2025 sessions with something dear to my heart...Connection Under The Stars! 

Taking some time for your self to peel off the layers that have formed around us throughout our life time and diving in to a journey that helps you back to who you truly are in your wairua (soul).

What to expect from this session:

We will gather at my house as a meeting point. (Address will be emailed to each confirmed attendee) From here we will split into car pooling groups. Please note that the driver of each vehicle will receive $10 per passenger to contribute towards fuel. 

The drive out to the remote and stunning location of Sutton Salt Lake is 1 hour. So bring your banter and music for the drive out! There is no set time to end. We will return when the group is feeling ready to leave the starry sky.

When we arrive, we will gear up and make the 10 minute walk up hill to our chosen spot for setting our circle. 

If the skies are light enough, we will do an energy expansion and activation Qi Gong form. 

Then we will do a breathworks session with the Shamanic Drum to connect our body, mind and soul with the breath that acts as our bridge between our physical body and our spirit body (soul)

After this, I will guide you through a meditation to connect with the expansive universe and feel that oneness with the infinite universe that is within you and all around you. 

We will sip on some warm heart opening Cacao while we share and ponder and explore the deep subjects that sit deep within ourself. We will share experiences that leave us feeling like many would not understand. We can draw from each other to receive guidance and understanding. 

So come along in a position of openness to receive and childlike curiosity. 

I will guide us through more gentle meditations for healing, for group coherence and for elevating our energy. 

Between each meditation we will view the stars and point out any phenomena and allow ourselves to breathe in the awe of what it means to be at one with this universe. 

You will leave feeling light in your heart, elevated in your soul and curious in your mind. 

WHAT TO BRING: (The weather cools down at night so please do not skint on warm layers)

Camping Chair - Recliner is excellent but can also be weighty to carry uphill for 10 minutes. 

Beanie

Scarf

Gloves 

Thermals pants 

Thermal long sleeve tops (I am often looking like the Michelin man with 7 layers so don't be shy to layer up!)

Ski pants and ski jacket - or winter jacket and pants

Woollen socks

Comfy warm shoes

Good sleeping bag

Flask of a hot beverage for yourself (optional)

Water

Torch for the walk back to the car

NOTE: *Please do not consume caffeine on the day of this event before it begins to allow your mind to settle with more ease. **This is a drug and alcohol free event. Please do not arrive under the influence of any mind altering substances. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person under the influence of mind altering substances without refund. We appreciate your cooperation.

QI GONG

We will start by using Qi Gong to open up and expand our energy system. 

You do not need to already know how to do Qi Gong. It is so simple with fluid movements done slowly and with guidance. 

Qi Gong is gentle mindful movement that brings your awareness in to your body and connect with your self physically and energetically. As a daily practice it activates your energy, expands your energy, balances your energy and more. Qi Gong also has health benefits such as balancing moods, relieving anxiety and stress, promoting calmness internally, gentle exercise on your joints and more.

BREATHWORKS

We will then go in to 60 minutes of a Somatic style of breathworks accompanied by music and my voice to guide you. At the end we will soften and ground as you come back in from your deep internal dive with some gentle stillness - allowing you to just 'be', followed by some gentle earthing movements. 

You will be supported on your journey by experienced 'space-holders'. I will explain to you various sensations you may experience and I will also guide you through each step that we will go through. 

Breathworks is an excellent tool that many have received profound experiences.
