As part of the 2026 Regional Tours, WAIS will host Coaches and Parents Forums across the South West, Great Southern, Mid West and Peel regions, bringing WAIS staff and athletes directly to regional communities.

The forums will provide an opportunity for local coaches and parents to hear from high-performance practitioners and athletes about the athlete journey, development pathways and the key factors that support sporting success.

Each event will feature three guest speakers, providing different perspectives and experiences from within the high-performance sporting environment. Through presentations, conversations and Q&A sessions, attendees will gain practical insights into supporting athletes at different stages of their development, while learning more about opportunities available through the WA high-performance pathway.

Light refreshments will be provided during each event, creating an opportunity for attendees to connect, share knowledge and build relationships with WAIS staff, athletes and other members of the regional sporting community.

These sessions are designed to inform, inspire and empower coaches and parents to better support the next generation of regional athletes.
