In this popular, practical Wicking Garden Bed Workshop we will demonstrate construction of productive small and large wicking beds. We will cover growing media, propagation, seasonal selection and watering systems to ensure you have a bountiful, water efficient growing system.

A practical workshop learning all about water efficient wicking garden beds. We will build a range of beds large and small and learn about the value of making and including nutrient and microbe rich compost into a successful productive food garden. David de Vries of Food Gardening in Remote Australia has run this workshop over 50 times through NT, SA and desert WA. He is now touring coastal WA bringing his expertise in building wicking garden beds over the last 16 years.
