This full-day, interactive online module aims to upskill practitioners, with theory and practice approaches, to enable them to walk alongside survivors of coercive control safely, respectfully and ethically.

Who delivers the training?
The training is Facilitated by Ada Conroy and Kelly Finch - Training and Framework Specialists.
Both Ada and Kelly each have over 20 years’ experience and knowledge in the sector, including as Men’s Behaviour Change Facilitators. They are passionate about creating an engaging and safe learning environment.
How is the training delivered?
The training is delivered online via zoom with a maximum of 30 participants per session. It has been designed to be interactive, and includes large group discussion, small group breakout room activities, PowerPoint presentation slides, case studies (for practical application of learning) and trainer demonstration videos. The training is aligned with adult learning principles, as well as the MARAM Framework.
Each participant will receive a Participant Guide Book to support their learning throughout the day, along with other online resources.
Are there any prerequisites for attending the training?
It is a requirement that professionals attending this training already have a good understanding of the dynamics of family violence, through previous and recent (within the last 2 years) training, such as Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) or equivalent if working outside of Victoria.
Participants are also encouraged to watch the Introduction to Family Violence Response webinar (60 minutes) featuring Ada Conroy.
Who is this training for?
This training seeks to upskill anyone whose role brings them into contact with survivors of coercive control. It is suited to new practitioners across the sector - in specialist family violence roles, or across other specialist disciplines - as foundational learning, or to experienced practitioners, to update and enhance their existing practice.

Cancellations
Registration fees are refundable up until 3 days before the training. After this time, you may be able to transfer your ticket to another person should you no longer be able to attend. In this case, please email us resisting.collusion@gmail.com
