Kaya @FirstName

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at Galup for the Walk for Reconciliation - Karni Walbirniny Koorliny | Walk of Truth and Healing. To assist in preparing for what promises to be a powerful day of place-based truth-telling, reflection, and solidarity, we have put together a list of things to check through before coming to the walk.

Have I packed:

Water bottle?
Hat?
Sunscreen?
Raincoat or umbrella?
Comfortable shoes?

Have I checked:

What wave have I registered for?
What time does the wave presentation commence?

Where do I need to be, so I can be mindful to allow enough time to arrive respectfully for the Welcome to Country at the start time?

Have I booked:

Seats on the shuttle bus to Galup (from Glendalough Train station)?
Seats on the shuttle bus from Galup (to Glendalough Train Station)?
A bus bay (if you are coming in your own bus)?

Everything you need to know about getting to Galup and where you need to be is on our website. You can also read our helpful FAQs for more information.

If you are attending wave 1 as a school group or with children, please consider bringing something to sit on, as the lawn may be damp. We will have a limited number of yarning mats on hand.

We look forward to walking together on Country in the spirit of truth, healing, and togetherness.
