Are you ALL IN?

Earlier this year, thousands of people came together during National Reconciliation Week and said yes. Now we are taking that energy to Kaarta Koomba.

Join us at Kaarta Koomba (Kings Park) for the 2026 Walk for Reconciliation - a sensory journey through the wildflower trails of this place of deep significance to the Noongar people, as we celebrate the oldest living culture on earth.

What to Expect

The day begins with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, before walkers move through Kaarta Koomba together at story points along the trail. This is a place where stories have been told for tens of thousands of years - this walk is a chance to listen, to learn, and to be part of that continuing story.

One walk, open to everyone - with a separate dedicated track for women's business for those who choose it. Along the way, experience the sights, sounds and living culture of Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar.

When the trail ends, the day doesn't. The main stage is programmed from morning to close with performances, activations and a place to land, connect and be part of the reconciliation community.

Walk Waves

Timed waves will depart every 20 minutes from 10am, with the last wave scheduled at 4pm. Choose a time that works for you or your group and come ready to walk with us.

Accessibility

The Walk for Reconciliation is designed to be inclusive and accessible. The shorter accessibility trail features pathways suitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids, and prams, with accessible amenities available at the event.
