Walk The Labyrinth - August 2026
Description
Labyrinths are ancient meditative tools, used for centuries for reflection and contemplation. We're really lucky in Chesterfield that we have one of the largest in with world right on our doorstep - on the side of the hill in Tapton Park.
Although there is no 'right way' to walk a labyrinth, before we set off, I will introduce you to the way I walk it - which is a walking meditation in four parts, or you are welcome to just join us for a peaceful walk.
It takes between 60 and 90 minutes to walk the labyrinth, depending on your pace. You are welcome to bring a flask with a hot drink to enjoy after the walk, should you wish to do so.
IMPORTANT:
The labyrinth is on the side of a hill, so by its nature, a lot of the walk is on an incline. The ground can be uneven.
The labyrinth is covered in grass, and it can be long. Wellies or waterproof walking boots are essential.
You are responsible for understanding your body and understanding your physical abilities. True Tides Wellbeing assumes no responsibility for anyone joining the walk, and will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss incurred by anyone on the walk.
This walk is dependent on the weather.
