The Women of Walkerville present an eclectic complement of speakers for their May Talks. Local historian Lyn O'Grady discusses Walkerville's homes with history - Holmwood and Monaro.

Two mansions built for two brothers, side by side on Devonshire Street. William Austin Horn was at the right place at the right time when copper was discovered at Moonta. This was the foundation of the family’s future as stockbrokers, vignerons, mining magnates and politicians. An illustrated presentation on two mansions, two brothers WA and TS Horn and subsequent owners. Beverage and nibbles on arrival.

Funds raised go to the Women of Walkerville Foundation charities.
