Walking in Her Footsteps: Community Learning Exchange with Protests and Suffragettes

Join us for a practical Community Learning Exchange hosted by Protests and Suffragettes, which will explore women’s history and creative activism in Govan. This exchange will give attendees a chance to share ideas, learn from local heritage and connect with others working across community spaces. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided. 

The day will explore:

• Women’s history & local heritage – exploring Govan’s vibrant streets and murals while uncovering the legacy of grassroots activism.

• Creative community engagement – practical and hands-on ways to use creative activities to tell local stories and bring people together.

• Peer learning & shared solutions – connecting over shared experiences and exploring how history can inspire current community work.

Funded through the Scottish Community Alliance, Community Learning Exchange Fund. Travel bursaries are available, with accommodation support on a needs basis.
