"Walking the Talk" with Marshall Roberts

Agfest is a big event and often we can't stop to talk, so join us for a meal and a catchup at the Royal Oak Hotel in Launceston, Wednesday 5 May 6pm.
Our guest speaker is Marshall Roberts, beef farmer in the Huon Valley. Marshall will share how he is transitioning from conventional to regenerative farming practices.
"Valleyfield in Glen Huon has family connections to the farm across 7 generations, and over the years has produced potatoes, hops, sheep, beef, pears, apples, blackcurrants, and raspberries. The 180Ha farm is now transitioning to regenerative agriculture in an effort make it more environmentally and financially sustainable, currently carrying 70 breeder Angus cows on 130Ha of pasture," Marshall.
