Event description

The Walking Together Project workshop uses the Uluru Statement as a framework, and facilitates knowledge, understanding and a sense of purpose for non-Indigenous Australians and this lands' First Peoples to walk together in a deeper understanding of why we should vote YES!

With an upcoming referendum on an Indigenous Voice to Parliament, now is this time for us all to better understand the Statement, and how we can take positive action towards a fairer and more just future for all Australians.

Yes23 Sutherland Shire and the Walking Together Project invites the community to come and learn more at the Walking Together workshop delivered by co-creators Nicole Laupepa and Jacqui Parker. This is a free, interactive workshop will be held in the Elouera Room at the Gymea Tradies.

TUESDAY 6TH JUNE 6-9pm

Please note, light refreshments will be provided to participants at the workshop.
