Event description

Please join us for a historical walking tour of Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood led by Derek Potts, Instruction and Outreach Archivist at DePaul University. The tour will cover approximately 1.5 miles and highlight significant sites of activism and community engagement, focusing on the impactful history of the Young Lords Organization (YLO) and the urban renewal efforts of the late 1960s.

Presented in partnership with DePaul University’s Special Collections and Archives and the Center for Latino Research.
