Event description

What better way to learn about your favourite nature spot in your neighbourhood than from hearing from the people who care for it?

Come and enjoy a guided tour of the biodiversity, wildlife and trees that makes Heywood great. We’ll walk through Heywood Park and learn about the remnant vegetation and see and hear about the various indigenous plants that inhabit the area and find out how you can create a wildlife friendly garden at home.

Tours will be led by City of Unley staff from the Biodiversity and City Design teams.

The content is most suitable for adults and older children. The walk will not be difficult but may be undulating or uneven in places.

Meet at Addiscombe Place playground entrance at Heywood Park, Unley.

We encourage participants to use sustainable methods of transport to and from the event, i.e. walk, cycle, bus or car pool.
