Event description

Take a stroll through the Amamoor State Forest and experience macadamia trees growing in their original habit. 


Russell Bennett from the Macadamia Conservation Trust will lead the group and talk about Wild Macadamia, the macadamia varieties, and the important role that conserving the wild species plays in supporting the macadamia industry.

Afterwards, enjoy a macadamia filled morning tea at the Amamoor Village Green and learn about other edible native bush plants, and how to use them.
