School Holidays: Wall of Wings - Bird Printmaking at the Museum

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Come along for some school holiday fun and be inspired by migratory shorebirds to draw your own design with local printmaker Mary Pulford. You will learn how to use your drawing to create a simple foam block image and use the relief printing technique to create your shorebird artwork.

As printing can make multiples, each participant is invited to donate up to 3 of their prints to be exhibited in the next Wall of Wings exhibition to be held at Louis Joel Arts and Community Centre, Altona, Victoria in celebration of World Migratory Bird Day. These prints will permanently join the flock and will be shown at future exhibitions of Wall of Wings.

Suitable for children aged 5 and up. Please book one ticket for each participating child. Accompanying adults are free.
