Wallaby Creek Festival is a 3 day celebration of music and the arts, at Wallaby Creek, 720 Shipton's Flat Road, Rossville, surrounded by the beautiful wet tropics rainforest of the far north. The festival is held in the middle week of the September Queensland school holidays each year at Rossville, north of Cairns and just south of Cooktown. 2023 will be the 21st festival.
The three day program offers music with something for everyone, on 2 main stages, and a third stage, a jam/chalkboard stage. Poets Breakfast, and a packed workshops schedule, Circus, Dance, Roving Street Theatre, a complete Children's Festival, delicious food stalls, healing spaces & market stalls and croc free swimming in the Wallaby Creek and the Annan River, complement the entertainment. Camping is included in the three day festival with bush showers and toilets.
